David and I have been blessed with two incredible kids. Hannah is 27 months, and Henry just turned 10 weeks old. They grow and change every day, and daily give us new things to smile about.

Hannah is talking up a storm! She is using full sentences now, and picks up new words and phrases all the time (sometimes even ones we don’t really want her using! We’re learning to be careful about what we say.) She can count to 13 and recognizes A-E and her name. She knows all of her basic shapes and colors. One of Hannah’s favorite things to do is read. She just got a reading achievement award from the library for her participation in the summer reading program. She was proud, and loved getting to choose a prize. Hannah also loves to color, play outside, chase Joey around, and help me in the kitchen. She is very intuitive and loving. She definitely can pick up on if you are upset (or someone on tv for that matter!) and is generally very sweet with Henry. We are so lucky to have her.

Henry has already grown and changed so much in ten weeks! He is a very mellow baby, but can be fairly fussy when he is hungry or tired. He is much more cuddly than Hannah ever was, which is nice for us. He likes to be rocked to sleep, and just started sleeping through the night!!! Our little man is doing nine hours at a time! He loves to chew on his hands, stare at the ceiling fan, and swing in his swing. He is very handsome, and has a lot of very blonde spiky hair. His smile lights up the room, and shows off his adorable dimples too. We couldn’t have asked for a better son.
